AET63 SDK

AET63 BioTRUSTKey Software Development Kit

The software development Kit (SDK) enables you to efficiently develop new applications and systems or incorporate the AET63 BioTRUSTKey’s powerful smart card-fingerprint reader combination into your existing applications. Included in the package are sample cards, sample codes, tools and utilities, demo applications, and reference materials that let developers integrate fingerprint authentication into smart card-based applications very quickly even without an in-depth knowledge of biometrics.

AET63 SDK Contents:
AET63 BioTRUSTKey Smart Card/ Fingerprint Readers
Integrated fingerprint scanner/smart card reader
Full-speed USB interface
Requires no additional power supply
Match-on reader – Template extraction and matching algorithms run within the device itself, not in the PC
Large active sensor size – 12.8mm x 18.0mm
High-resolution 508 DPI imaging
Utilizes CMOS active capacitive pixel sensing technology, resulting to high-quality fingerprint images in any environment
ISO7816 1/2/3- and PC/SC-compliant
Supports all microcontroller cards, with T=0 or T=1 protocols
Encrypted fingerprint template stored inside smart card
Session key generation among smart card, BioTRUSTKey processor and host computer
USB data transmission protection via 3DES encryption
Optional SAM
