Il modulo lettore NFC USB ACM1252U-Y3 con scheda antenna rimovibile è sviluppato sulla base della tecnologia contactless a 13,56 MHz.

Questo modulo lettore di smart card è progettato per un'integrazione rapida e semplice nei sistemi embedded.

Questo modulo lettore supporta le tre modalità NFC:
 
>lettore/scrittore di carte
>emulazione della carta
>comunicazione peer-to-peer

e supporta varie schede come le schede ISO 14443 Tipo A e B, MIFARE® e FeliCa e tag NFC conformi a ISO 18092.

Supporta anche altri dispositivi NFC con velocità di accesso fino a 424 Kbps e distanze operative di prossimità fino a 50 mm (a seconda del tipo di tag utilizzato).

L'ACM1252U-Y3 è dotato di un'antenna staccabile e di un cavo USB opzionale, che offrono flessibilità durante l'integrazione del modulo in sistemi embedded, come chioschi e distributori automatici.

È il modulo di interfaccia front-end perfetto per abilitare le transazioni NFC per applicazioni che coinvolgono sistemi integrati.

Su richiesta, ACM1251U-Y3 è dotato di uno slot Secure Access Module (SAM) di Classe A, conforme a ISO 7816.
